Beautiful Weather!

Today was GREAT weather!  I love it when the sun comes out!  My semester is over in 11 days in counting and I'm SO excited!   I'm excited to go home and visit the coast, spend time with my family, bond with my sister, and miss school!  Lol my friends here have been fantastic!  I've made new ones as well as made memories with the ones I already had. The weather has been mild for Rexburg, so it's been fun!  We've had everything from cold, brisk, snow to the warm, T-shirt worthy, swinging paradise weather! :)  The swings have been great!  I sat at a frozen ice cream place tonight with my aunt from out-of-town and she asked me where my favorite place to hang out it is.  I thought that I didn't really hang out anywhere, and then I realized it was the swings near my apartment. :)  It makes sense that my favorite place to be is free, not my apartment (you have to get fresh air sometimes), and also involves my favorite childhood past-time.  This is really like a life-long past time because I took it with me to teenage years and I expect that it will move on with me into adulthood and eternity.  I hope there's a swing-like feature in heaven. :) I love that I have a family, friends, a loving Father in Heaven, weather that's good, my job, this education, and the opportunity to go home sometimes!  I still love my family! Good-bye Rexburg!  Hello Medford! :)  ...soon! :)

Sunny Weather and Fun Weekend! :)

Krystal and I went to the park this week!  It was SO beautiful!  I forgot what it was like to experience such a gorgeous day with WONDERFUL weather!  We went to swing and enjoyed the fresh breeze with our shoes off!  I love the Spring that's coming.  It makes me SO happy!
I'm wrapping up the semester with smiles & laughs. This weekend some friends and I went down to Utah for the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, UT.  We stayed with my grandparents in Farmington, UT where we had fun hot-tubing, watching movies and bonding.  Saturday, we traveled down to Salt Lake, where we visited the new shopping mall, attended the festival down in Spanish Fork,  and finished off the day at Chipotle on our way home! :)  It was SO fun to make memories with my friends before the end of the semester and I'm excited to go home at the end of the semester and see my family, but I'm also going to miss the fun times I've had here with fun people! :)

HERE IT IS!  ...Driving there! :)

Celebrating with Green! :)

This weekend, my room mates and I celebrated St. Patrick's day with style! :)  We made around 40 some-odd pancakes, green scrambled eggs (with some cheese for Krystal's taste-she LOVES cheese on her scrambled eggs) and then some great invention from Pinterest of bacon and pancake combined! :)  Zach was the lucky winner of that creation, compliments to Krystal! In addition the pancakes, Janika made green-colored sugar cookies! :)

Getting Gas and...midterm Crazies!!

Getting gas was quite the adventure!  I have done it less than five times in my whole life even though I started driving almost four years ago.  Living in Oregon is quite the treat!  We don't have sales tax and we don't pump our own gas.  It's against the law there to do it your self, so other people do it for pay.  We sit, provide the money, and drive away!! Well, the other night, Janika needed gas in her car and we had an errand to run so we went together to go pump some gas at the gas station with NO ATTENDANT.  Like I said, I've done this less than five times in my entire life and it was with guidance.  Anther time done -with guidance- as of this week with Janika!  She's a patient little teacher and it was fun! :)

Oh!  and she was so proud of her self for making the dollar amount whole!! :) Good job Janika!

This really doesn't have much to do with midterms but they have, among other things provided some overwhelming challenges.  Besides the fact that some of us are more spunky by nature, THIS is the result on a random Tuesday evening after three hours of class. We love you Janika!
