What are your family stories?

I've been thinking a lot of my deceased extended family -some I barely knew and others not at all. What were they like? What were their struggles? How did they overcome? Sometimes, I feel inspired to write my own stories so that my  posterity-to-be can have them to refer to and learn from -hopefully they will enjoy them too! 

This week, I'm teaching a lesson at church about family history. Also this Sunday, my mom is giving a talk about the divinity of motherhood and their role in the family, as outlined in The Family: A Proclamation to the World. 

She is looking for inspiration to spur her creation process. What are some stories and qualities that illustrate good mothering in your family? Any you can share? Little Breaks

Today, I went swimming. :) It felt so good to relax. I'm glad for breaks. :)
