Tuesday Devotional

Every Tuesday here at BYU Idaho the whole school closes down for a special meeting in a huge (new) building called the "I-Center" and everyone is invited to come and hear a Devotional there.  It's an hour long and no one has classes during that hour so that everyone can attend! :)  It's very spiritually uplifting and I look forward to it every week so far!  We always have really good speakers that are enjoyable and smart.  This past week we listend to a man who is involved in the building of temples around the world and he showed us lots of photos of temples that are currently under construction!  It was SO cool!  He was really enthusiastic also and shared with us his personal witness of the prophet's enthusiasm for the temple construction.  Because of the spiritual nature of this meeting, we're all encouraged to dress up for Tuesdays and attend this devotional prepared to be taught with our scriptures.  At the beginning of every one, they ask us to show that we're prepared and a bunch of hands with scriptures in them go up in the air!  The sight of all the students walking to one location to be taught is really cool!
